Mary G. Webster Scholarship

1. Application must be made on approved form and submitted to the PLTA Scholarship Committee.

2. Applicant must be a full-time student attending a 4-year college or university within the State of South Carolina.

3. Applicant must be a legal resident of the State of South Carolina.

4. The award shall be for the sophomore, junior or senior year of study at the South Carolina institution in which the applicant is enrolled. The applicant must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior.

5. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 is required.

6. Applicant must be pursuing an education in a business-related field.

7. The scholarship will be for one year.

8. The scholarship is $1000.

9. The scholarship application package must contain the following:

• Completed application - may be mailed to PLTA or submitted online. 
• A statement outlining the reasons you feel you should be awarded the scholarship and your future career plans (limit 50 words) - may be mailed or submitted online.
• One letter of reference from professor, department head, faculty advisor or dean - MUST be mailed to PLTA.

10. Applications must be postmarked no later than March 15th of the year in which the award is to be given.

11. Scholarship recipient will be notified by May 1st.
