Dues Amounts:
Membership is open to employers or authorized representatives of any title insurance corporation, company, or agency/agent that meets the following qualifications: they must be directly and primarily engaged in the real estate title industry as an underwriter or agent issuing title insurance on properties in South Carolina; they cannot be involved in any other class of insurance besides title insurance; and they must be licensed by the appropriate regulatory authority in South Carolina for the real estate title insurance or title insurance issuing agent industry.
Dues Amounts:
Associate membership is available to individuals, corporations, companies, or businesses licensed in South Carolina as title insurers, title agencies, or title insurance agents that do not issue title insurance on properties within the state. It is also open to those involved in real estate-related fields who do not qualify for regular membership. However, residents or domiciliaries of South Carolina, or entities with owners who derive direct or indirect financial benefits from title insurance premiums, are not eligible for Associate Membership.
PLTA and our dedicated Legislative Committee actively protect the interests of our members, their clients and the title insurance industry. We closely monitor state and federal legislation and champion policies that safeguard the integrity of South Carolina’s real estate market, our association and the title insurance profession.
The Association holds an annual conference, which allows members to earn continuing education credits while learning from the industry’s most qualified title and legal professionals. This event is a chance to sharpen your skills and stay ahead in a competitive field.
